Hello!

I hope that everyone has had a great Christmas and New Years! I had a blast this fall attending all the shows, meeting new people and hanging out with old friends. I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. I couldn't have done it without you all. In this article I want to pertain to the juniors. At this time of the year applications for the junior activities are becoming available. Through my years I have filled out many applications for awards. I have received the Jr. and Sr. Progressive Breeder awards, the Scholarship award and of course being chosen as National Queen. I wouldn't have been able to be chosen as National Queen if it wasn't for filling out all of the previous applications. You may think you don't have a chance, but you never know!!! I felt that way many times, but you should always try your best. The Ohio Society has a reward program for their juniors. If an Ohio junior fills out an application, attends the convention and competes for the award, they automatically get $50.00. It doesn't matter if you win or lose, at least you tried. If you win you don't get anymore. I didn't fill out the application for the money, and most don't, but it's kind of like an incentive to participate. I just want to encourage all juniors to participate as much as possible because it does pay off in the long run!! Well I hope that everyone has a great year!!!
